DESCRIPTION: A small, etched ivory seal with an engraved scene of birds in a pine tree.  At the top center is a three-line Chinese inscription in tiny characters.  The top is pierced with two holes through which a silk cord is threaded and secured by a green jade bead.  The seal itself leaves a positive (or red) impression when inked. Dating from the 19th C. Qing Dynasty, this seal is in excellent condition. DIMENSIONS: 1 1/8” high (2.8 cm) not including bead. <div id='rater_target1170582'></div>
